Delivery Returns Repairs 

 

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

Cloughley Jewellery accepts returns and exchanges within 14 days of delivery. All returned or exchanged items must be in an unworn condition and packaged in its original box.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.  All pieces must arrive in perfect condition. Lost returned items can not be refunded so I recommend using a tracking service.

 

If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason please contact us at cloughley@cloughleyjewellery so we can discuss exchange or return and I'll send the return address. 

-Cloughley Jewellery can not accept Returns or Exchanges on commissioned or personalised orders such as engagement rings.

-All Sale items are final and can not be returned or exchanged. This includes items that are bought with a Sale Discount Code but not the WELCOME discount upon signing up for our Newsletter.

-International returns must be clearly marked RETURNED GOODS to avoid customs fees. All fees and shipping costs of returned items are the responsibility of the customer. 

 

SHIPPING:

When you place an order with Cloughley Jewellery you will receive email confirmation of your order. Cloughley Jewellery is made to order and each piece takes up to two weeks to complete. If you need a piece to be shipped sooner, contact me at cloughley@cloughleyjewellery and I'll try my best to accommodate you.

Packages are shipped via PostNord, I offer free delivery within Europe. Please note that once your order arrives in the country of destination, local  taxes and duties may apply and they differ from country to country. Please check with your local post office as these taxes and duties are the responsibility of the customer.

I use the shipping address you have entered on our checkout form,  so please make sure it is correct. Cloughley Jewellery is not responsible for errors in your shipping information. If a package has the wrong address it can take quite awhile until it is returned to me before we can re-ship it or refund your purchase. We can only do this once the package has been returned.  If the package needs to be re-shipped there will be a new shipping fee.  

If a package is unclaimed at your post office within 14 days, Cloughley Jewellery reserves the right to charge you a handling fee to cover return shipping and freight companies administrative costs. 

Warranty

According to the Danish law you have a 24 month warranty on all purchased products.

Please note that normal wear and tear and lack of maintenance is not covered by the warranty. If you discover a defect in a purchased item, you must as soon as possible and within a reasonable time, contact me at cloughley@cloughleyjewellery explaining the default or defect. If the item is faulty, I will repair or replace the jewellery.

Silver and gold plated jewellery will wear with time. I recommend storing Cloughley jewellery in the box provided and avoiding contact with chemicals such as perfume and hairspray and I advise taking your jewellery off before showering, swimming and going to bed. 

I understand you want to keep your jewellery looking good, so I offer a free of charge service of re-polishing and re-oxidising Cloughley Jewellery. I can also give your jewellery a new 24ct gold plate, the price will depend on the individual piece.
